13 Struggles of your Week Back at College

We’re excited to go back, but the struggles of not living at home are DEFINITELY real…

1. Nobody wants to be the first to buy loo roll…

It’s not that its expensive, it’s just we’re all broke. And we’d rather buy vodka.

2. There is mould all over your new house…

…it’s disgraceful, we should definitely complain! But hangover.

3. Nobody cooks for you so you end up spending all your money on dominos…

…you bought stuff for dinner, but then someone else was ordering and it’s 2 for tuesday.

4. On Sunday, you realise you have exactly 24 hours to do all your reading and go a bit mental…

…that’s doable, right? If I don’t sleep?

5. You start going to pre-drinks but stop going out…

…you tell everyone you’re coming out, but when they leave you stay. What happened?! You used to be fun.

6. Waking up for 9ams is nigh on impossible. Even 12ams are a struggle…

Ahhh summer when you had no responsibilities. Come baaaack 😦

7. You’re kind of motivated, but you realise how hard it is to actually work…

‘I’ll go read in the park’. Liar.

8. There are no snacks in the house…

You have to buy them yourself now. How are we expected to know what we’ll want before they want it?!

9. You’ll be so excited to see your friends again…

…until one of them starts eating your food and using all the hot water.

10. You have to do a food shop and CARRY it home…

    …marshmallows for dinner today then.

11. You’ll realise how much safer you felt at home…

Students seem to get burgled a lot, probs cos as we’re all drunk most of the time & forget to lock the door.

12. Trying to avoid any trend that might make you look like a fresher…

You’ll give up after the first week, there’s no hiding that baby face.

13. Getting panicked about the deadline for changing modules…
